Hello I have over ten years of caregiving experience. Being a professional caregiver is my calling and I enjoy being able to make a difference in my clients lives by providing the professional care they need . I'm a very compassionate person and caring and I'm also a dependable person and I am tru to my work as a caregiver. I have worked in nursing homes, assisted living and in home and when I'm connected with a client I treat them like family cause I feel that they are my family. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is because when I was a lil girl I use to love to take care of my grandmother and always wanted to become a nurse or caregiver. I am proud to say that I feel like I achieved that goal as becoming a caregiver.

For example, if a senior client can't walk but is healthy mentally, I tell them that their job is to supervise. I keep it as light and fun as possible in a professional manner. When clients are having a bad day, it's my job to make it better! I love working with seniors and children. I stay in tune to their needs by paying attention and listening. A safe and clean environment is of utmost importance, and I strive to ensure my clients are receiving the best care possible. A \"tailored\" routine, reliable service, good communication, and a good working relationship with the client and family has been the key to my success in this business.

I am a single Mom of two Sons, 25 and 22. When they were younger, I volunteered and worked at their schools as well as coached their soccer and basketball teams. I've volunteered at churches, senior homes and The American Red Cross. I am compassionate, empathetic, a good listener, responsible, dependable and trustworthy. I'm also outgoing, patient and have a strong desire to help others! I became a caregiver when I had to step in and take care of a family member, who had a stroke. I like the fact that I was helping someone get rehabilitated while experiencing a miracle happen right before my eyes. I've been told that there should be hundreds more like myself, from just about every and anyone I have worked for and with. It's great feeling to have when you can go beyond others and your own expectations and receive certificates and rewards on how much people love you for what you do for their families. I became a CNA in 1998 and currently hold my certification. I'm also a Certified Pharmacy Technician and have been for 9 years and counting. I am a mother of 5 and wife.
