These are difficult for me to fill out as to most of my life as a caregiver I was paid by them privately. I did this twice in my lifetime. Once the above. Ms Tanda passed away of cancer. Her daughters were not involved in her life, so much so that I was called to the hospital before they were if needed to be. She was in a wheelchair after a devastating auto accident left paralyzed from the hips down. She needed to be lifted with a hoyer. I was there in the morning for morning getting up bathed, cleaning, food preparations at times not always. She could cook on her own. Took care of two dogs as well. Plants outside work , watering , etc. Traveling back and forth 60 miles to LaCrosse Wi for her Chemo. With the travels she had a sore that developed on her bottom, which I took care of faithfully and we won that battle . I would administer medicines, intervanal feeding and antibiotics. Visiting nurses only came once a week when she was diagnosed with her Ovarian Cancer. I loved this woman as she was my very own sister and or friend. I had to give one of the dogs (Bailey) an allergy injection and I had never ever done this before. But we did okay with it all. There were times I would spend the night with her, there were times when I would ask if we could keep her two grandchildren with us every now and then so that she could enjoy them and that I was able to take care of them.
