I have taken care of both my grandparents as they passed away and as hard as that was it was one of the most wonderful times in my life. I get a great joy out of helping others especially the elderly. I always think to myself one day that will be me. I am the one in the grocery store that if you drop something I pick it up or if you look like you're having a difficult time caring their bags I will carry them. It may be part of the way I was raised but it's something that I enjoy doing and not just because I have to. I have an extensive medical background to the fact that I was a battery technician and I have worked with several hospitals I still owe my pet sitting service but that will not interfere.
