Assisted the care of my great grandmother with Alzheimer's disease before she passed. She often became irritated and distressed that she couldn't remember things nor people. However, I was able to ease her worries day by day.I'd say that experience helped me realize I loved helping people who have trouble helping themselves. My personal achievement was being able to help my grandma live in her home (until she had to go to the hospital, where she passed) as long as I could, despite being a young child and not knowing where to start.
