Hello! Thank you for considering me as your care giver. I've been a caregiver since I was 16 years old. I always had a dream of helping others in any way I can. My first experience with caregiving was caring for my grandmother who suffered from dementia. I spent time with her, looking through photo books, exchanging stories, going for walks, and I'd help her cook meals, and eat towards the end of her journey. I find this to be the most rewarding job. Everyday I would encourage her to take a step, even if one. After six months of this practice; she ended up having leg braces and was walking with them plus a cane. No longer in a wheelchair. This is just one of the many achievements, over the years, that I am proud of, in helping different ages, and people from different population, achieve.
