I like helping families breath a sign of relief knowing their love one is being cared for properly. I have received many thank you and hugs from siblings who appreciate the care that's being provided to their parent. I was especially proud when I had to take some time off to care for my sick mother and when I finally came back to the client I was caring for prior to leaving, her son and her daughter was so happy to see me return they gave me a big hug (even the son) and told me they hoped that I would return. The daughter was always tickled because her mother called me her friend.

I monitored for medication and hydration reminders as well as home safety issues and instructed patient with short term memory on external colostomy and urinary bag procedures daily. I received several Certificates of Achievement and Outstanding Service. One certificate was for 3000 hours of care and service. Copy of certificate upon request.
