One of the best qualities I have is a sense of empathy for those being cared for. A sense of personal understanding and connection is vital. I understand my clients may feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, and being able to identify and allay these fears can create a sense of calm and trust for those being cared for. People receiving care typically lack the ability to be fully independent and self-sufficient, patience is vital to the role of being a great caregiver. I always remain patient, calm and work at my clients pace. I am a reliable caregiver always counted on to be there. If I say I'm going to be there to provide care then I will.
