My name is Leslie and I have been an active LPN for the past 52 years. The past 35 years I have been working with geriatrics. This past January 29, 2023, I finally retired from the full time work force. Before I graduated from high school one of my jobs was a companion for an elderly woman in our neighborhood. I was also a candystriper in our local hospital. I have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren whom I can't get enough of! My husband of 34 years had a stroke 3 years ago this November and I am his caregiver.

What attracted me to caregiving is that the elderly need us and rely on us when the family can't do it anymore due to there family and work. So we become there helpers and like there family.
