I decided to become a caregiver because I love taking care of people in anyway I can to make their lives more enjoyable and easy! I took care of my grandma and grandpa for their last few years of their lives and loved of second of it even the harder days. I most enjoy getting to know and talk with the people I care for and learn about them and what they like and don't like. I love hearing stories and just overall being able to make someone's day better. A personal achievement of mine is overcoming 3 back surgeries and being able to play hockey again.
