I am a compassionate, patient, and caring Caregiver that strives to give each patient personal attention to their daily and medical needs. I have been commended for helping the longevity of a patients life through my eagerness to go beyond and learn medical procedures to help the patients needs to live comfortably and happily. My best contribution was when I first met my last patient, she had a stage 4 bed sore wound and she needed her dressing clensed and repacked with the latest medicine and procedure which had to be done daily, but the visiting nurses where only scheduled to come once a week, so I learn the new changes and procedures at the doctors office then taught the visiting nurses and co-workers the bi-weekly changes with the wound care procedures. I was commended by the physicians, nurse, visiting nurses, and daughter for my commitment and participation with the patients wound care which healed from a stage 4 to completely healed.
