Hello. (I am just starting out with Carelinx )I have been a caregiver pretty much my whole life. My first child was born with a host of health issues as well as ASD and extreme ADHD. Professionally I've been doing it for about 5 years. I started taking care of my father as he aged and provided his hospice care. Then I did it professionally after his death for a friend who hired me because I know how to navigate the va health system. I then started it professionally after relocating to MO. I provided fulltime care to my father who had macular degeneration, memory loss, early onset dementia, and incontinence. For over 10 years I took care of him and he was not always the easiest patient. He had developed dementia and was prone to fits of paranoia.
