Hello. (I am just starting out with Carelinx )I have been a caregiver pretty much my whole life. My first child was born with a host of health issues as well as ASD and extreme ADHD. Professionally I've been doing it for about 5 years. I started taking care of my father as he aged and provided his hospice care. Then I did it professionally after his death for a friend who hired me because I know how to navigate the va health system. I then started it professionally after relocating to MO. I enjoy taking care of people and am incredibly honest, compassionate, and dedicated to my clients. I do in fact believe that the first part of being a in home health care giver is to actually care. My entire life, people have been drawn to my light, loving energy, compassion and sense of humor. Most often I have heard that my presence speaks volumes, I'm a ray of sunshine and an earth angel. I feel our elders are a treasure and should receive the help and support they deserve. After decades working in a corporate setting I decided to leave and pursue a more heart-centered career. I had been drawn for years to the idea of working with elders and those in hospice and once I started training I knew I had found my life purpose. Regardless of age, I enjoy being a caregiver! I love knowing that I make a difference in peoples lives through my work, volunteering and my 'being of service' way of being. I have many personal achievements that I'm proud of, but the one that touches my heart the most is that I allowed myself the gift of time and self-reflection to step into my life purpose, being of service in elder care, end of life care and other related areas that bring together all of my education, gifts and life experiences. I am an upbeat compationate RN. I have been an RN for over 30 years. I love the patient contact and helping people. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that despite all the technology I still enjoy the patients. I love the challenges that health care provides!

Hi! My name is Judith but you can call me Judy if you like. I have been a full-time caregiver since 2012, and I am so fortunate that I am paid to do what I love! The thought rose up in me when my mother began to show signs of Dementia. We developed a bond that was very close and comforting for both of us. Since then every client is family and every challenge is so worth it! I think I was born to be a caregiver. I think that trust is the most important aspect of my profession. I have learned to be rigorous about making sure things are always where you put them. I don't look in cupboards or drawers unless I have permission to do so. If a client has faith in me they will exercise and eat and walk more readily. I am certified CMA (I am able to pass medications legally) and up to date on my CPR and First Aid Certifications. I think I am most proud (and grateful) for my ability to make clients feel protected and valued.

Hello I'm a mother of 2 teenage boys. I have lived in a few different states, while my husband of 16 years was active duty. I have been in homehealth care since I was in my early 20's. I enjoy assisting others and helping them with their independence.

I am A very high energy loving happy person! I am very driven. I am also careing and very respectful. I tend to go above and beyond for my clients.

I have been a substitute teacher for over 10 years, and have taught young children- some with special needs. In 2014, my now 94 year old mother came to live with my husband and me. She has developed dementia, and the amount of care she is needing has significantly increased. I feel that my experience working with children has made this transition a little easier for me.
