In 2013 I went to school to be a medical assistant. Well the college that I went to helped the students get jobs after completing the course. They sent me to an assisted living why I don't know Bc I was a pct at the facility. Well I fell in love with this type of work. You really have to have love and compassion for people in this field of work bc it's not the type of job You can do just for the pay check you have to have patients and love the people you work for as though they were your own family. I love hearing stories of things they have done in their past and just make them feel good even if it's just listening. I recently went back to school to do what I should have done from the start and got my cna license and couldn't be happier.
