I possess all the great qualities a good caregiver must have in this kind of industry. I am very patient, flexible and passionate in what I do. To give my patient the best care possible, it is important to have a personal understanding of and connection with what my patient is going through. Being able to empathize with them allows me to put myself in the patient's shoes, and identify and ease the patient's fears or discomfort. I grew up with my grandmother most of my life and shared a bed with her until I was 23 years old. Yes, I am proud of that! She got very ill at some point and started losing her memory over the years. During my college days as a Nursing student, I made sure to go home in every semester break to take care of her such as monitoring her blood pressure and her medications as well. When we lost her, the pain was unbearable and I decided to join the caregiving industry to always remember her and continue my passion. The most important thing that attracted me to become a caregiver is when you give your 100 percent love and care to your patient and treating them as your own.
