My name is Brenda and I am 54 years old. Just recently moved to Maryville from FL and before that, NH and MA. I have held a variety of jobs over the years. When my oldest child (24) was young, I was a CNA/HHA. At that time, it was not a sustainable income. So, I moved on. Fast forward 23 years or so, I recently left my most favorite job at a Retirement Community as a driver and dispatcher. I loved spending time with the residents. Talking, hearing and telling stories and sometimes just being the ear they needed at the time. I developed many special relationships during my time there. I guess what makes me love it is that I can do things for people that they can no longer do for themselves. Such as driving. I can assist someone with walking, shopping, whatever their needs may be.
