What helps me be a great caregiver is the fact that I love people in general, spending time with anyone of any age is a blessing. I was attracted to being a caregiver when I realized how much fun I would have when I stayed nights with my granny even though I had a lot of responsibility to do there, I still managed to have fun. Not only do I enjoy meeting and spending time with new people, I do like to find productive things to do with my time, so things like housekeeping, volunteer work, or cooking, I have a passion for. A personal achievement I'm proud of is being able to take care of my granny's husband after finding out he lost his memory. It was a challenge but it helped to better my skills in caregiving.
