I am a certified CNA with 28 years of experience. I was motivated to be a caregiver at a young age living with my grandparents who raised me. My grandfather had a stroke and diabetes. At the age of 12 I assisted my grandmother to take care of him because I loved them very much. I believe you should do unto others as you will have them do unto you by being accountable, putting their priorities first and giving lots of tender loving care. I always do above and beyond my call of duty. My greatest achievement in CNA is that I have never been unaccountable for not working when I said I will do the job. Clients accept me as part of their family and never want to get rid of me.
