I am a great caregiver because I have naturally been one most of my life. I became a caregiver because when I was in high school I began caring for my aunt who was disabled by assisting her with personal and medical needs. Then I was primary caregiver for my grandparents for the last 4 or 5years. I honestly love being a caregiver because it warms my heart to know that those who need assistance are receiving the proper care they need by an individual that will not take advantage of them. I started working for Home instead senior care two years ago and I love seeing individuals light up when I walk through the door and know that someone is there for them. I have a bachelors in social work and a Masters in Public health administration. I have a lot of experience working with people with dementia and disabilities.
