1)I became a caregiver because I love to help others and make a different in someone else's life .2)What I like about being a caregiver is,to be able to help someone and it's really make me happy . Because I am a loving & caring & respectful ,trustworthy person .When I'm helping someone I feel very happy , especially for those that can't help themselves. 3) A personal achievement that I am proud of ,is all my four children are done with college and one of them is married and started with new job and have a funny and beautiful little girl that's make the whole family really happy. and my last one/son is graduated done with college & already starting working. All 4 of them are doing really well and some of them are already starting their own business. And To me that's a big accomplishment and very proud of all of them. That makes me really happy &they are really close to God that 's making me even more happier. Only God can do such things ...To me it's a dream come true & Glory to GOD. 4)About myself , I've been married for 34 +years and I have four children and I am God fearing . And I've been Cna for more than 20 years and +and I love what I do . The reason that I love it is because I had a car accident 20 years ago I could not do nothing for myself and my family took care of me and I said to myself whenever I'm getting better and able to do everything I have to help others who needed help & won't be able to take care of themselves. And because I have compassion for what i do and I tell anyone that who want me to work with a loved one if they don't have enough money to pay I'm willing to negotiate. Because our Father in heaven wants us to care for one another.

I am by nature kind and caring. When my father became ill with colon cancer I was his caregiver. I would pick up and administer his meds. Knowing I could bring comfort to him mentally and help in his physical needs made me feel better as a person. He had come to a point where he was wheel chair bound. I drove him to all Doctor appointments. I also manicured him by that I mean shave his face, cut his hair, and fingernails. Prepared lunch and served him, I did anything to make him feel good about himself. I stayed with him for many hours daily till my mom came home. I also took care of my mother-in-law and she lived with me and my husband for 2 years. She was 91 and had severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. Her care was different than my fathers. Nonetheless, her remaining years with us were eased, The care for her was serving her meals, help with bathing, walking with her, getting her into bed and out of bed. General all around every day living and care taking. Then there was my mom. I took care of her when she no longer could walk. She had had a triple by pass and severe emphysema. A few years later, she had a serious fall which led to a slow demise . I took care of her for 3 years. I enjoy knowing that I can help one in need.
