 Observing patients' conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output and vital signs, and report changes to professional staff..  Turning and repositioning bedridden patients, alone or with assistance, to prevent bedsores.  Feeding patients unable to feed themselves.  Providing patients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.  Bathing, grooming, shaving, dress, and/or draping patients to prepare them for surgery, treatment, or examination. Including changing linen.  Transporting patients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher. Setting up & dismantling the endoscopy procedure room  Cleaning, disinfecting, and calibrating scopes and other endoscopic instruments according to manufacturer recommendations and facility standards.  Assisting doctors and nurses during endoscopy procedures  Collecting specimens from patients using standard medical procedures.  Preparing suites and rooms according to endoscopic procedure requirements  Positioning and transporting patients in accordance with instructions from medical personnel

 Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor or case manager  Providing patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs and automobiles, and with dressing and grooming.  Caring for patients by changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care.  Entertain and converse with, and read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert. Including taking them for leisure walks to the club house.  Administering prescribed oral medications, under the written direction of physician or as directed by home care nurse or aide, and ensuring the patients take their medicine.
