I am a former pediatric bone marrow transplant critical care nurse of 8 years, and decided to take a leave of absence to stay home with my children. Terminally ill children are quite often just as fragile and require the emotional support very similar to seniors. My nursing passion has brought me back to the nature of caring for patients and their families, without having to meet the fluctuating demands of beside nursing.
