I became a caregiver because there are so many people who are in need of assistance and understanding. So many caregivers are just in it for the money...and have no personal comittment to the person they are hired to care for. I like being a caregiver because at the end of the day you know you made a difference in someones life.I am proud of the the 25 years I have spent in this career. I love what I do. I am 47 years old and believe that doing what I love as "a job" has kept me healthy and feeling great all the time. Its not a "job" ..it was my calling in life.
