I was first introduced to home care when I was a teenager as my grandmother suffered from Breast Cancer,I became her primary caretaker,so upon my 18 th birthday I went ahead and took the CNA/HHA CLASSES.I truly love what I do,it gives me great pleasure caring for someone,also being able to care for someone who needs to be cared for,and wants to enjoy thier last year's in their home.I have been doing this (care taking) for 26 years. I worked at American Airlines for 18 yrs.Our office was closing and I had an option to relocate out of state or a buy out with an eligible early retirement package.At that time,my sister was in critical care for TBI.I chose to leave my job and care for my sister full time for the next 2 yrs.I understand the needs family have to care for their loved ones,the challenges,and the personal rewards of keeping their loved ones home.

I'm very understanding and punctual , and treat people like people. I have respect and can understand boundaries , personal space but also reach goals that need to be reached. I started doing caregiving after my great grandmother passed. She was completely independent and ended on hospice so I learned it all starting with her and when she passed I missed that feeling of helping someone and the joy I brought to them.
