I have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing , and currently working as a license Vocational Nurse in different cases like, Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other medical and post-surgical clients. I am very attentive and knowledgeable about the things I do. I take life seriously but I feel good about myself when I make other people happy and laugh. I am very outgoing, a fast learner, and always willing to try/learn new things. I also respect my clients' privacy and confidentiality. I have special connections to elderlies like my LOLO(grandfather) and LOLA(grandmother). My grandparents took care of me ever since I was a baby. Every time I work with elderlies I treat them like they were my grand parents

Worked as a caregiver for almost 7-8 years

I have worked as a TNA at NHC nursing home for a year and worked as an in-home caregiver for 4 years. It is my passion! I love helping others! The absolute best part of my time as a caregiver was becoming a companion to my clients. I worked hard and became a Manager for 2.5 years. I love this field and give it my all every day!

I have never been a a carefigver before. I have never been to someone's house & took care of someone. I would like to though because I think it can help me in the long run. I am studying to be a nurse, & I think this could definitely benefit me. I've always loved to help people, caring for others has always come naturally to me. I think to be a great caregiver, you have to be kind & compassionate. You have to really love what you do. Those people I always think they have such big hearts, nurses, too. To care for someone, out of the kindness of your heart. I think it's amazing. So what attracts me to being a caregiver is seeing others happy, makes me happy. If I'm helping someone, & I know I'm doing something good it gives me such a wonderful feeling that I know I just want to keep doing it. I can't say what I enjoy most about being a caregiver, but I know that I would love having to take care of someone and having them rely on me to help them with anything would bring me such joy. A personal achievement that I am proud of would be, graduating high school early, while suffering with migraines and anxiety. I have had it pretty rough, but I am still going, trying to become a nurse because I don't believe in giving up.
