Hello, I am Brittney I have been a caregiver for 7 years almost. The reason why I became a caregiver is because I have always had a giving personality and I love helping people. I have worked with clients who have are DD who have been medically fragile, who have had dementia, who just need companionship. I have worked with covid positive patients. I have done lots of wound care, catheter care, feeding tube via g tube. I feel being a caregiver is such a rewarding job to know you can help someone.

What makes me a great caregiver is my ability to empathize without having pity towards someone. I've always been incredibly honest and true to what I love and it shows when I'm working as a caregiver. Being able to be selfless in a usually selfish world is relieving to me. I'm detailed oriented and love to be a help. A personal achievement I'm proud of is graduating high school, it was a hard road. The next achievement would be getting a previous client of mine to finish their whole snack, orally, which never happened.
