I became a caregiver because I did not want to work in main stream Healthcare anymore. My passion is helping seniors the way they and their family's want to be cared for without Healthcare systems making the choices for their care. I worked as a physical therapy assistant for 27 years. The last 8 were in a rehabilitation department at a skilled nursing facility. I have enjoyed the last 9 years doing private home care as a caregiver. Helping individuals live their lives with dignity, safety and loving care.

After being in the veterinary field for 20 years, I've gained a level of comfortability with all things clinical and medical. I am an active treating clinician in my primary job as an outpatient physical therapist/supervisor, with additional experience working in the inpatient setting. My background provides me with bed mobility, transfers, and gait training, in addition to proficiency in exercise programs. I've worked with a wide variety of patients, including geriatrics, post-operative and those more medically complex. Willing to assist with household tasks, errands or be there for general companionship, as well.
