I have taken care 8 children 4 of them are now adults. So i been a caregiver all my life and i alsi helptake care of my grandparents before they passed on. I started to realize caring for others gave me joy and i loved it. I enjoy most about my job is giving my clients personal one on one care and attention. I get to see smiles on there face. I hold there hands and remind them they are not alone. I talk to them even if they cant respond back . i am mostly proud of my self for wanting to get extra skills and education with Alzheimer's and dementia clients so i to a class and now i am a National Certified Dementia Practitioner my license # CDP 245350 approve by the Alzheimer's and Dementia National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners Association in Sparta Nj. I also just finished in August 2019 Patient Care Tech which allows me to be CNA i am waiting to schedule my written test and a phlebotomist and a EKG Tech and then in January 2020 i start my Nursing Program online classes. And campus clasess. So i am proud of my accomplishment for being a mother of 8.
