What I think makes me a great caregiver would be the compassion I carry for my residents, my empathetic ways to them and their feelings as well as their needs. I became a caregiver straight out of high school because during that time my grandmother was in her last days and after caring for her it became something I felt the need to do for others going through similar situations that needs someone to care for them. What I enjoy most about caring for others is the feeling that comes over me, the smiles that greets me when I walk into a room and introduce myself to my residents. What I'm most proud of when it comes to my own personal achievements would be the ability to communicate with people from all walks of life. Just my versatility overall.
