I am an extremely caring person. I am retired after a long career in the medical field. I have worked in many physician offices and hospitals and my favorite part of the job was always when I worked one on one with patients. I have the "it" factor, a heart and compassion. Not everyone does especially in today's world. I feel truly fulfilled helping someone. I would love to be a companion for an elderly person to make their quality of life better and to know that I brought someone happiness and joy.

I have always had a strong relationship with my Grandmother, from as young as I can remember. I watched her as she aged over the years, and became unable to do certain things for herself. It was instinctual for me to just do them for her. It made her feel better knowing she had me there for her and it made me feel good knowing I could help her and make her life easier. I still feel that way today when I am able to help someone out with things they cannot do for themselves. I always think, if I wasn't around for my own Grandmother, I would have wanted a compassionate individual, like myself, to care for her. I take pride in my natural ability to care for the wellbeing of others with the utmost respect. I truly enjoy helping people. That is why I became a certified caregiver.
