Ensure patient care is carried out in accordance with the Standards of Nursing Care and the policies and procedures of the unit. Process for Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine soldiers. Verify service members and civilians have proper documentation and proof of labs, immunizations and other records for a specific region so they may deploy and demobilize safely. Obtain service member history and pertinent family history. Administer Health Risk Appraisal questionnaire. Perform quality control checks and operator maintenance for service member care equipment. Assist in identifying service member needs and implementing the plan of care. Document care given. Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with SRRC directives and prepare such records and reports as may be required by the policy. Ensure all documentation and reports are legible and complete. Prepare all documentation to meet or exceed established standards of the SRRC to include but not limited to timeliness, legibility, accuracy, content and signature. Prepare service members for physical examination.
