I Cared for a Fam. {Summerlin Home setting} where their Young 72 yr. old Mother is bedridden (Still Able to Participate in PT) from Both a Brain Tumor & subsequently Stroke. She Lost her Husband, Suddenly & unexpectedly, who was her Main sole Caregiver : ( So her Children Needed to find & Hire on Full Time Companions Asap. So I've Assisted the Fam., a Great deal, in "Transitioning, adjusting, & Settling" in Together. Especially since still Newlyweds & taking on a Medical Career. They relied on & Appreciated Me in Organizing, Preparing Meals, Cleaning, & Moving Over to a New Home where they'd have Alot More room, Privacy, And an overall Better functional open floor plan & layout for All Involved <3

I worked for a Fam. for Only a few Mths...prior to my Last Job Position. My 70 yr. old patient had dementia, lost his ability to speak English we couldn't communicate in Bulgarian, & was a Black belt. So, least to say he needed further additional and more extensive care in a Team facility setting in which mutiple staff could handle & take care of his Needs, than what I could provide for both him & his family. I've A lot of Understanding, Empathy, Compassion, Kindness, & Love for both a patient and a Family's sitatuation <3

I Traveled around Portland OR to a handful of Clients. My Main patient though was a former Nurse Named Iris, with Early Alzheimers onset Disease, who I Cared for in a majestic High rise facility near & overlooking the Waterfront & OHSU Hospital...where she Retired from. I Also was Called upon, by the Best Friend of a Very influential lady here in Las Vegas, who had traveled the World with her Diplomatic Husband (who was Older & had Already passed on) & she in turn Eventually succumbed to Ovarian Cancer...despite doing her Best to Battle it throughout her Treatments. She was a Very Strong Lady...to say the Least. She Even Refused Pain Meds. during the process. My Focus was Just on making her Feel More Comfortable, during her Final stages, (while her Friend was Needing to Make & Suddenly Change Accomodations & Decisions Concerning her Care...based on her Needs & Preferences) by Giving & Providing her with Gentle Massages. I Also Made sure that she was & Felt Ready to Move on, And then Continued to say a Final Prayer... as she then Chose to draw her Last Breath And passed away in my arms <3 It was both a Privilege & Honor to be able to be a part of her passage...
