When looking for a caregiver I feel the most important feature is honesty, integrity and making the client as comfortable as possible. I deal with many families who reside out of state and they really depend on me to get the job done, this is not the kind of business that you can call in one hour before your shift begins and say I'm not feeling good. My last client me and my husband worked for an 86 yr old lady with dementia, depression and we worked 7 days week 10 hours per day and in over 4 years we never missed a day you can't leave someone like this alone that's what I feel is a strong commitment and excellent work achievement.

Personal Caregiver

I've been a personal caregiver to an 86 yr old lady with dementia, depression, ocd, I've been with her over 4 years and just recently the family decided to put her in assisted living facility, they reside out of the state so they now need 24/7 care which is not cost effective for myself. I've been in this industry for over 20 years I have three grown children and my husband of 22 years helps with male clients. We have plenty references, we handle physician appointments, light housekeeping, medicine administration, bookkeeping.
