Hello! My name is Alyssa and I put my all into being an excellent caregiver. While I do not have any formal experience as one, I have much personal experience caregiving. My mother has a neurological condition which has severely hindered her memory and day to day functionality. I've been caring for her since I was a teenager. This includes but is not limited to: food preparation, medication reminders, cleaning, grocery shopping/running errands for her, taking care of her pets, providing emotional support, making sure she stays mentally active, and much more. Due to the personal nature of this job to me, I have no doubt I'd be an excellent caregiver to anyone in need. My time at Steinmart taught me immensely about the value of helping people. I would answer questions, direct customers to where they needed to go, and assist them with anything else they needed. I also worked the register, where I became proficient at money exchanges and multitasking. In between shifts I would help ensure the cleanliness of the store. This included cleaning the bathrooms, sweeping the entirety of the store, taking care of trash, and sanitizing any necessary items or surfaces.
