About Cassidy

I became a caregiver because I wanted to give something back to my community. I wanted to contribute something meaningful and do something genuinely good and I love taking care of others. I've always been told I have nurturing soul. Honestly, I enjoy pretty much everything about my job. I love getting to know the people I take care of and just knowing that I can help somebody and make a difference in their life. It really is such a fulfilling job. I think one of my personal achievements that I'm most proud of is getting my certified nurses assistant license. I'm a 20 year old college student who is working toward a degree in nursing. I live on my own with my 8 month old puppy. I work hard, learn quick, and love working with people.

I have a lot of patience and understanding which I believe is crucial to making those who are home-bound more comfortable. I have taken care of children who have had the measles and chicken pox. I have taken care of parents until there death. My father had skin cancer and then a brain tumor. My mother had Crohn's disease and then a heart attack. I took care of my pregnant niece when she was bed ridden with third pregnancy while her husband was deployed. I spent time in the NIH Clinic and helped them with various patients being treated with cancer, epilepsy, Parkinsons, etc. I believe that I have the patience for taking care of disabled children or adults. I am temporarily out of work as I am a male caregiver as my patients went in for additional surgeries.
