A caring heart can keep you energized during tough times, I fell inlove being able to work in flexible environments where I can give support, take care of others, help encourage them to be stronger & not loose faith in life, but to be able to enjoy the comfort of their homes. As we age a strong support system is all we have. I am now 22 years old, I've been working in health care for 4 years. My experience started in high school working as a volunteer aide for children who had developmental disabilities. I then began to grow my career further in health care learning first hand from registered nurses on how to change catheters, monitor oxygen tanks, give insulin injections, bsl, colostomy/ wound care. I've dealt with a variety of in home family who have members who have developed conditions such as MS, Heart failure, COPD, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, mentally challenged etc. Even if it comes to nursing back to health after a terrible fall, I'm efficient with using a hoyer lift. I may be a little slim but I am strong, with good strategic skills!
