About Amanda

I am a very compassionate, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, experienced, diligent, precise, adaptable and caring PCA/HHA. These traits allow me to meet the patient where they are and work from that. I have been told that I was built for this work, amongst, other very positive assertions. I feel that elderly are sometimes forgotten and that the industry of caring for them is understaffed. I wanted to aide towards a solution for that. I've made it my absolute business to make sure I touch every client's heart and life with dignity, love, happiness and respect giving them the assistance and tools needed to maintain their independence and stay in their own home (tho I have been contracted by patients to assist in facilities as well). I love my career, it is extremely satisfying and fulfilling. I love the idea of giving back and being there for others when they need it most. The happiness that my clients experience and comfort they feel from a job well done and appreciated from a trusted, honest, loving friend is a beautiful gift that they give to me. I have worked with clients labeled as noncompliant and/ or difficult and usually I have little to few problems reaching compliance, tho there is a trust building process that must develope which I must nurture and maintain.
