My name is Carol. I am a 36 year old wife and mother of 3. I have been a caregiver for children of military families in the past, for 8 years. I was also a caregiver for my father who is now going through his 7th year of pancreatic cancer. Having family in the military and knowing that their schedules are not always consistent, I built a care system that allowed military families to have comfort in knowing that their children are safe while they are away working. I am compassionate, attentive, patient, and dependable. I have an understanding of how some may feel while needing the help from others, which is why I have the confidence to help others and being very supportive to each individuals needs. I am trustworthy, dependable and love to keep communication open with those around me. With my husband and I both able to make our own schedules, I have the flexibility to be there when you need me. What I love most about being a caregiver is the relationships I am able to build and knowing that you have someone you can depend on. A personal achievement I am proud of is putting myself through school, while pregnant and working full time, and now I am establishing my own business, while still being able to help others.

I am currently a daycare provider for 2 children on Monday and Tuesdays each week. I provide a safe environment for these two children, and my own, for learning (one 5th grade, one 3rd grade, one kindergarten). I make sure each child is participating with distance learning and also understanding the curriculum the teachers are giving. We do arts and crafts, I teach basic cooking and baking.

I was an all around person at INK able to work all positions in front of house. Manager: worked with Quick Books Intuit for billing, incoming/out going invoice, reconciling bank statements. ADP for payroll, entering new employees into the system. Hiring/firing employees, scheduling of over 45 employees. Making orders for behind the bar. I was also brunch manager, making sure our extremely busy restuarant ran smoothly every day, making sure all customers were satisfied. Bartender: Bartenders not only serve behind the bar, but also accept customers at their own table. My goal was to make sure all customers recieved the best possible service. Took orders. Expoed food, make cocktails, bussed all tables. Cash handling for my own tables and also deposits for resturant.

As a swim instructor, I would teach children, from the ages 6months and up, to adults, how to first become wall safe, and then to swim. Each student taught what to do while around the pool, and what to do if they fall in. Our school had a guarantee that each student would be wall safe with in the 2 week class. As a swim coach, I would help each athlete with technique of each stroke, give drills to strengthen the swimmer and to build endurance. I would also find creative ways to practice, but also have fun while doing so.
