I have always found the art of caregiving a natural aspect of my personality. I was born in Boise, and as an adult moved to the small outside rural communities. I started babysitting at age ten, and worked at a couple of daycares as a young adult; transitioned into caring for disabled and elderly adults and love it! I also love to learn how to use the creative arts (such as theater, art, and music) to help me relax, and be able to express myself better. Reading about different types of philosophies to better understand and express love, kindness, and compassion has been a passion of mine. I have the ability to feel and react calmly in various (even stressful) situations. Many patients and supervisors have commented on the peaceful atmosphere that I am able to create and maintain. There is great respect and love for families who want to take care of their loved ones in their own homes. I am excited to work directly with families and make a difference!

I worked in the Heart Clinic at St Luke's Regional Medical Ctr in Boise Idaho, the Heart Transplant unit in Salt Lake City, Utah; and an LTAC Center in the San Francisco area for individuals who were difficult to wean off the ventilator and move on with their lives. A very rewarding history and it was a joy to see each patient go home with a new lease on life and move forward.
