I became a full time live in caregiver for my father after he had a stroke six years ago. A typical day would consist of cooking, bathing, cleaning, administering medication, driving him to doctors appointments and shopping a few times a week. It has not been an easy six years, but I do have to say it has been the most rewarding journey I have experienced.
