My passion in life is to help the elderly live out their final years in a comfortable environment of their choice. I retired after 33 yrs as a manager working with a large telecommunication company and this enabled me to care for my mom in her home. I took care of her for 5 yrs. before she passed away at the age of 94. Then I had the privilege of taking care of an elderly woman w/ Alzheimer's for 3 years until her state of mind needed a larger staff of caregivers in a facility. Since then I've worked w/ an elderly woman w/ COPD (passed away), an elderly woman w/ COPD and Alzheimer's (passed away), an elderly man w/ COPD on Hospice (passed away in my arms) and last but not least an elderly woman w/ Diabetes and Alzheimer's that now needs 24 hour live in care. I'm very flexible and look forward to helping out a family that needs care for a loved one. I've actually cared for 4 different families thru this site.
