I became a caregiver to give back by helping others. I enjoy seeing there faces when you.. are able to make there day just that much more meaningful & special allowing them the freedom to STILL hold onto some Independence and remain in there own home. I'm an Upbeat Care Provider with 16 Years of Experience I have provided full time private care for several elderly clients, as well as various other temp/fill in positions to date. I have been a driver, housekeeper, cook and in-home care companion/friend. I paid the bills for them and maintained upkeep of their residences, did grocery shopping, errands, medication pick up, and whatever was needed. I have cared for the legally blind, have experience with blood infections, strokes, diabetes, diverticulosis, heart attack, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's/Dementia, Macular Degeneration, and varied cognitive symptoms, as well as cancer patients. I'm always vigilant, dependable, devoted and caring, staying bedside if needed with the patient during hospital stays, or while in rehabilitation centers. I also work with a certified Comport/Therapy dog, of 3 ibs, who is a major asset in the care of those with Dementias. Lvl II background check CPR certified
