I have been working in a care giver capacity since I was in high school & working in Autumn Care nursing home as a Geri Aide. I decided to take a CNA class back in 2010 & follow in my mother's footsteps who was also a CNA. I've always had a soft heart for the elderly & disabled. I love to help people and this is the most rewarding job. I'm a quick learner and I'm kind & generous. I'm understanding. I love taking care of and helping people. Even if all they need is a companion or someone to fix them meals. The personal achievement I'm most proud of myself for is completing a peer counselor specialist class. But my trade is caregiving. It's what I'm good at.
