I am a highly respected caregiver mainly to children of all ages for approximately 25 years. I have diligently and proudly worked my way through the ranks in this filed from beginning as a cook to owner/operator of my own home childcare business. Although I have mainly worked with children, I have in the past stepped in to help in the aide and care of an elderly lady of 96 as a companion health care provider on numerous occasions to help a past employer of mine in the care for a friend when she could not. I am soon to be 53 on July 29 and looking to make some changes in my life as to the area in which I wish to share my love and compassion for people. It is with great pride I have in myself, to see the joy, smiles, laughter and sense of security that people of all ages from young to old have found in me. In 2012, I moved back home from PA to SC and brought my father who was 80 at the time to my home to care for him after my mother passed away when he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I was a turning point in my life to experience this first hand as a daughter and eventually caregiver in all aspects working with hospice nurses teaching me and guiding me through the steps from the beginning to the end of his life. That was a profound time in my life and have been forever changed since.
