I became a care giver to help others that are not able to help their selves, My daughter passed away in 2008 and I saw how the nursing staff made her so comfortable that I wanted to give that comfort back to some one else, what I enjoy about the care giver position, is that the joy you see on the faces of people who really appreciate your kindness. My most personal achievement that I am proud of is going back to school for my cna certification. I have experienced loss of a child, and still I am able to stand strong. I have a second child who is a honor student in her middle school, I feel that was quit an achievement on my part also. I have been in this profession for about two years working in different nursing home facilities but I feel one on one care would be a better fit for myself, I attended Boces technical career school in the year of 2012, Once finished the cna course of three months I started working for Ten Brock Commons in lake katrine Ny. From there I was hired at Golden Hill Nursing Home facility. Trying to find my fit in the facility industry that I also worked in the FernCliff Nursing Home also. I find myself at this point wanting to give private care a try.
