I became a caregiver almost 8 years ago. I started working in a dining room , serving residents food in a well known nursing home here in Rochester. It used to bother me hearing the residents ask me for assistance with the bathroom or transferring and I couldn't because I was not qualified to do so. So I then decided to take on this CNA training program. I enjoy putting a smile on the faces of those that I care for, enriching their lives everyday. They become family to me. I am very patient, hardworking and dedicated. I have a strong desire to care for people and work good with others. I communicate well with family members and other staff , trying to build positive relationships with them as well.
