I am a loving and caring individual. I started watching babies when one of my siblings had their first baby which was back in 2014 and from there forward I watching babies whenever my family had them. I did have assistance from my other siblings but i got to experience a lot with each of the babies and they all had different personalities and different needs of how to care for them effectively. I currently still babysit my one niece who is 4 now and it's great. I have a now 1 year old and also a Australian shepherd who I going on 5months. I have had dogs my whole life. From being with my parents to living on my own an finding my own animal friend to live. We are currently in dog training classes so that's a great plus. For seniors I've taking care of my grandparents from a very young age (with of course help from my parents) to now I work part time with people with developmental disabilities of ages ranging from 20s on up to 60s plus. House cleaning: that's literally all I do at home. Clean and clean non stop years of experience from a young girl to now. But you get the true experience when you get your own place so I say about 4 years now of truly getting the understanding of household cleaning.

I worked for 1. 5 years in a nursing facility as a certified nursing assistant helping our elderly with all aspects of their activities of daily living. I also worked as a mental health therapy aide at the Buffalo psychiatric center for 10 years and took care of my mom the last year of her life. I am very personable and caring. I treat people the way I would like to be treated. I love the Bills and Sabres and like to do crossword puzzles. One of my biggest assets is my ability to put my self into others shoes.

A good Personal Care Assistant is a compassionate, supportive and well-rounded individual. Maintaining reliability and organization is also vital. These traits are imperative to provide the necessary support and comfort to recovering, disabled or frail clients.

I'm not just a care giver. I drive to and from appointments. I also do maintenance work needed around the home and take care of property. I'm very patient and take time with The one I'm working with

I follow through with tasks, and fulfill their responsibilities with dedication and commitment. To be able to build strong connections and relationships with my clients, which is extremely rewarding. When you're working with people who are in need, you can feel good about helping them live their best lives possible. I always practise compassion and understanding as I know how important this is to the wellbeing of my patients. I have excellent interpersonal skills and am extremely patient and resilient - these skills have helped me tremendously with the emotional aspects of the job..
