I was taking care of my grandmother and seen the mistreatment of individuals who didn't have their families in the nursing homes with them. I was always with my grandmother and thought I should get into the field of home-care.. I have my medical assistant certificate as well as my HHA certificate. I have a client now that was unable to walk. Due to my motivation of exercise, after 2 and a half months he was able to walk using the walker. Drs told him he would not walk again.
