Hi :) I have 3 years of experience with dementia patient, and I recently became certified in September. While I love the knowledge that I gained to become a CNA, nursing homes are not a good fit for me, because there is no time to truly spend with the residents there. So I prefer one on one, or two. I feel that people get better care when it isn't divided between up to 20 people. I love taking care of people. It's just in my nature. I'm a very happy, kind person, and I handle dementia or mood swings from people very well, because I never take it personally ! I have my own reliable transportation and I will be happy to show you all of my credentials, which include a recent physical, tb test, and I'm also BLS certified, which means that I know CPR for adults, children and infants. I like to clean, so if your loved one is sleeping in my care, I won't sit around on my phone when there's laundry to be folded or dishes in the sink :) I feel like I should be working when I'm at work :) I am very open to random drug testing if you would like, that is not a problem at all. Well, I think that I've rambled enough for now :) If there's is anything at all that you would like to know, please don't hesitate to ask ! I'm an open book !
