Gaining employment as a caregiver has provided me with experience working with patients and families who are caring for a loved one who is overcoming the challenges of chronic illness. Earning admission to medical school has been one of my great accomplishments, and my current and future experiences with caregiving will only help me to better serve my community as a doctor.
