I have been a caregiver for 10 years and I have learned that I have a natural ability to care for the elderly I have worked with dementia patients wheelchair patient and bedridden patients I do bathing/showering feeding cooking laundry and light housekeeping I also have my own transportation I first became involved with caregiving because of my grandmother she was in a nursing home for the last years of her life and I learned how to care for her I think the help I give to the client is what I enjoy the most in this job
